AC/DC adapter says 5.0 V DC
The red light on the sensors blinks every minute or two. Each time it blinks, it sends data to the central station. If you have trouble receiving data from any of the sensors, press & hold the "CH" button for 3 seconds then release. Within few minutes, all channels should have data displayed and updated.
My opinion is that the flashing sun is to say what the current condition outside is as apposed to it being cloudy.
It should show the proper temperature. The sensor may have gotten water inside. I get erroneous readings when that happens.
