Weather Station FAQ

How to connect the weather station and the sensor?

If your newly purchased sensor cannot connect to the main unit, please follow these steps:
1.Power on the weather station;
2.Set the channel of the main unit to CH1;
3.Set the channel of the sensor to CH1;
4.Install AA batteries into the sensor.
A flashing red LED when the sensor is powered on indicates normal operation. If the LED does not flash, it indicates a damaged sensor that requires replacement. Ensure sufficient battery power using new alkaline batteries. Important: If the sensor is turned on before the main unit, allow 2-3 minutes for automatic signal resending.

The sensor loses connection to the main unit after using for a period of time?

This could be due to the sensor reaching the end of its service life, depleted batteries, or signal interference. Here's what to try: Replace the batteries with new alkaline ones and check if the red LED indicator flashes. Make sure there are no devices or materials near the sensor that could cause wireless interference. Place the sensor close to the main unit, wait a while, then try reconnecting.

The data detected is not accurate.

Our main unit and sensors have a temperature deviation of ±1°C and a humidity deviation of ±5%. Data readings within these tolerance ranges are considered normal.

The data are not accurate and fall outside the acceptable margin of error.

Reasons:
1.The temperature and humidity sensing module is broken;
2.The sensor is placed in direct sunlight, humid environments, or near other heat sources;
3.There is moisture or water in the temperature or humidity module;
4.The main unit connected to other sensors(maybe the sensor close to the house or from the neighbor).
Troubleshooting Steps:
1.Check the placement environment: Make sure the sensor is kept away from direct sunlight, rain, damp areas, and heat sources.
2.Verify data sources: Confirm that the reference temperature and humidity data comes from reliable sources (e.g., professional weather forecast services).
3.Reset and test: Place the main unit and sensor together, change the setting channel, and observe the data after letting it sit for one hour.
4.Dry the sensor: If the humidity reading is too high, use a hairdryer on a low setting to dry the sensor before reconnecting it.

Can the sensors and weather station be compatible with other brands?

Our products’ signals receiving channel is 433mhz. We cannot ensure that our products can be compatible with those of other brands.

How many sensors can the weather station connect to?

The weather stations can be connected with three sensors.

Why does the screen become unresponsive or the backlight turn on/off automatically during specific time periods each day?

The device automatically receives RCC radio signals daily. During signal reception, to ensure stable transmission, the device will temporarily lock screen operations and may automatically dim or turn off the backlight. Normal functions will resume after signal reception is completed. The specific reception schedules are as follows:
European region: Daily at 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, 4:00, and 5:00 AM.
American region: Daily at 7:00, 8:00, 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00 AM.
